Affiliate Disclosure

I am an affiliate for some products and services mentioned on this blog. That simply means that if you make a purchase by following any of my links, I will earn a small commission from the company. (And I do mean small. About 1.5% at worst, 7% at best.) It’s basically a “Thank you” for recommending their product. You pay exactly the same whether you use an affiliate link or not.  It’s the company that pays the commission, not the customer.
My blog’s content is time-consuming to produce and maintain, so being a member of a few, carefully chosen affiliate programmes helps me to continue to offer you free content. Don’t worry, if you don’t use the links, you’re still more than welcome to binge on the free content.
I only promote products or services that relate to the content of this blog, so you won’t find affiliate links for new cars, skiing holidays or saucy underwear.
My recommendations are based on my own personal experience,  never the manufacturers’ blurb. All reviews are my own honest opinion and are not influenced by anyone else. I recently turned down the opportunity to review some brushes, as the manufacturer wanted only a positive review. The brushes probably were as good as they said, but I wanted the option to be critical if that was warranted. It’s ultra important to me that you can trust my words.
I hope you’ll like the products as much as I do.

My current affiliate memberships:

  • Jackson’s Art Supplies. Their Gloucester branch is my local art materials supplier. (Lucky me.) It’s also the distribution hub for their online orders, so they hold a massive range of stock from all the brands you’d expect, and they’ll probably ship to your destination. (Note: not all products can be shipped globally.) Competitively priced, good quality art materials from helpful staff. If you’re a new Jackson’s customer  and you click through my affiliate link, you’ll receive 10% off your first order. You will need to create an account with Jackson’s in order to receive the discount.
  • Amazon. I realise that people either love Amazon or loathe it with every ounce of passion they can muster. Whatever your opinion, there’s no denying that they have a vast range of products which are available globally, usually at competitive prices. I can recommend products and know that wherever you are located, you will have access to them. If I use a different company, readers in American Samoa, French Polynesia and Curaçao may miss out, and I wouldn’t want that. (If you’re wondering, yes I do have readers there.)
  • Rosemary and Co. I love, Love, LOVE their brushes! I use them for my acrylics, I’ve been recommending them in my workshops for years, and now I’m recommending them on my blog. Superb quality, globally renowned brushes, and as they are only sold online you don’t contribute to the overheads of a retail store. What’s not to love? In addition to using the links on this site, if you enter my affiliate code JACKIEG at the checkout when purchasing from their site, I will gain a small commission, which helps fund this site.
  • All other links on this site aren’t affiliated, so you can click them as many times as you like and it will have no effect on me, or this blog, whatsoever.

By using this website you agree to all parts of the above Disclaimer.
